After experiencing a shocking, scary, or life-threatening event, it is common to feel fear and have difficulty readjusting. For most individuals, these difficulties diminish over time as they return to their regular routines. However, if you continue to experience distress long after the traumatic event, you may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

This application has been developed with the aim of evaluating your symptoms of PTSD through a scientifically-supported screening test consisting of 20 questions. The test utilizes the PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), a widely used screening questionnaire in healthcare and research settings. The PCL-5 is also useful for monitoring your PTSD-related symptoms throughout your treatment journey.

The PTSD Test app offers four main tools:

• Start Test: Take the PCL-5 screening test to assess your symptoms of PTSD
• History: View a record of your test scores to monitor the progress of your symptoms over time
• Information: Learn about PTSD and access additional resources that can aid in your path to recovery
• Reminder: Set up notifications to conveniently remind yourself to retake the test
